On March 8, 2025—the International Women’s Day—our company specially organized an annual health checkup event for all employees. This initiative not only reflects the company’s deep concern for the physical and mental well-being of its staff but also aligns with the festival’s theme of caring for women and emphasizing health. Although this day is traditionally reserved for female employees, the company adheres to the principle of fairness and has extended the scope of the health checkup to all current employees, ensuring that every colleague can enjoy this thoughtful benefit. At 7 a.m., the lobby of the health checkup center began to fill up with employees dressed in their uniform work attire. The venue was arranged meticulously and orderly; at the registration counter, clear signage outlined the step-by-step procedure, and each department’s entrance was marked with prominent signs. To enhance efficiency, the administrative department had pre-categorized the checkup items by gender and age group and prepared both electronic and paper versions of the appointment forms. Employees simply needed to scan a QR code to quickly access their personalized checkup packages and relevant precautions.
The physical examination program covers multiple dimensions, including basic checkups, biochemical tests, and imaging screenings. In the basic checkup area, medical staff are using specialized equipment to measure employees’ blood pressure, height, and weight, and are also taking detailed histories of their past medical conditions. At the biochemical testing area, a neat line has formed in front of the blood-drawing stations, where nurses perform the procedures—disinfection, venipuncture, and blood collection—with expert precision. In the imaging examination area, the electronic queuing system at the entrances to the ultrasound and DR rooms is operating smoothly and efficiently; doctors are carefully using high-definition equipment to identify any potential health risks. For employees who spend long hours working at desks, the company has additionally introduced cervical spine CT scans and bone density tests.
Considering that some employees need to undergo multiple tests on an empty stomach, the logistics department thoughtfully prepared a nutritious breakfast. After the medical checkup, each employee received a breakfast package containing warm milk, whole-grain bread, and fresh fruit. Ms. Wang, the administrative director, said, “Health is the cornerstone of our efforts. We hope that regular medical checkups will help everyone stay informed about their health status, enabling early detection, early prevention, and early treatment.” This medical checkup event continued until noon, during which a total of 360 employees completed their health screenings.
Going forward, the physical examination center will issue individual health reports and arrange for specialists to provide one-on-one interpretations of these reports. The company plans to optimize the office environment based on the examination results—for instance, by equipping employees suffering from neck discomfort with ergonomic chairs and adding a healthy beverage station in the break room. This health check-up initiative, which seamlessly integrates humanistic care with scientific management, not only allows employees to feel the warmth of the company but also lays a solid foundation for building a healthy workplace ecosystem.
